Ocean Count College Gets High Marks for Energy Conservation
Project
Thanks in large part to utility bill savings, Ocean County
College (OCC) has been one of the few colleges able to avoid
raising tuition fees over the last two years. These savings are
the result of a campuswide Energy Conservation Project
spearheaded by Tozour Energy Systems (TES), a leading provider

First Philadelphia Smart Grid Commercial Building Underway
Tozour Energy Systems, Inc. and Viridity Energy, a premier smart
grid company, recently partnered to enable 1500 Walnut Street to interface with the
smart grid as a virtual power plant. This commercial building, managed by SSH
Management, will be the first in the city of Philadelphia to provide continuous congestion
relief to the grid operator by optimizing its building energy assets, including HVAC and
ice storage system. |

The building is currently tracking for Leadership in Energy Efficiency Design (LEED) Silver Certification for Commercial Interiors. It is the recognized system for certifying high-performance green interiors that are healthy, productive places to work; are less costly to operate and maintain; and have a reduced environmental footprint. |

Tozour-Trane Achieves National Designation for Environmental Excellence
The Mechanical Service Contractors of America (MSCA) announced that Tozour-Trane, a division of Tozour Energy Systems, Inc., has been awarded the MSCA GreenStar designation, which recognizes MSCA STAR qualified contractors who have met stringent guidelines for environmental responsibility throughout their companies. Only two percent of MSCA Contractors nationally have achieved this certification. |
